Я помню как этот дом посещали любители заброшенных зданий , как они снимали в нём контент. Тогда уже не верилось , что этот дом будет жить . Казалось что он умирает навсегда и никогда больше не вернёт своё былое великолепие . Не представляете насколько это заряжает вдохновением и надежой 🎉

Когда то давно я видела этот дом ,он разрушался ,на это было очень грусно смотреть. Поэтому это видео вызвало шквал эмоций 🎉 Поздравляю , вы великолепны

I love it when these buildings are renovated, restored, and preserved. We will never see the likes of them again once they are gone. They are so visually rewarding as compared to the overpriced rubbish being built today. Full-on kudos to this couple for their hard work and perseverence. It's amazing what they have accomplished. Their legacy is stellar. 🎉🎉🎉

Been binge watching your videos. You two are so hard working. Glad to see you get a break here and there. Love watching the transformation. I always teased my friends and family that I was a princess. I have always thought I would like to live in a castle. Never realized that a chateau is so close to being a castle. I absolutely love the floor in the salon. It is spectacular! I love wood grain of any kind. It’s a shame you will be covering it with a carpet, though I fully understand the reasons why you will. Thanks for allowing me to live vicariously through you and sharing your journey.

To be honest my favourite paper was the first one shown. To me it looked like it had a silver sheen, didn't really notice the green on my screen, but seeing it in person would probably shift the hue

Just watched this transformation again. It is so well done just love the ceiling rose and chandelier in the entrance really is stunning. I am going to miss you. Hoping you pop up somewhere else again soon.

I just discovered your video and am gobsmacked by the work that was done to bring this room to such a beautiful sight! The attention to detail, indeed minutiae.....refinish a side table that included spray painting it gold and then put gold leaf on top of that?? Madness, I say, madness! :-) I was surprised, then, that the areas to sides and below the large "crown" of the fireplace mirror weren't replicated. Comparing the photo at 2:35 in the video and again at 25:13 there is a dramatic difference, IMHO, as to the appearance of that area to the finished room particularly in view of the fact that the mirror is such a major focal point. Nevertheless, the work done, the labors of love put into that work are astounding. Thank you for the willingness to put the blood, sweat and tears of your lives into rescuing this beauty. Cheers!

The Chateau is beautiful, what an undertaking .... wow! I dont think the white damask print wallpaper (or what ever it is) works well in an all white room but it's not my house either. Me, personally, I would have done some paint or a faint pastel colored paper for a bit of contrast.
